Iain Powell

Iain Powell has extensive work experience in engineering and design roles. Iain started their career in 1987 as an Industrial Designer at The Croydex Company. Iain then joined Britax Roemer in 1989, where they served as the UK Engineering Manager until 2009, and then as the European Advanced Engineering Manager until 2014. In 2015, they became the Head of Advanced Engineering at CYBEX GmbH.

Iain Powell's education history starts with their attendance at Bickley Park School from 1973 to 1977. Iain then went on to attend Sevenoaks School from 1976 to 1981, where they completed their A levels in Physics, English, and Design. Following that, they attended South Bank Polytechnic from 1981 to 1983, where they pursued a degree in Engineering Product Design. In 1983, they moved to Northumbria University and graduated in 1987 with a degree in Design for Industry with a focus on Industrial Design. Later, they pursued an MBA at Brunel University London from 2004 to 2006, specializing in Business.
