Joachim Confais has a range of work experience in the field of neuroscience. Joachim served as the Chief Scientific Officer at CYNBIOSE starting from February 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Associate at the National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry from April 2013 to June 2017. In this role, they focused on spinal and cortical recordings in behaving primates and studied sensory-motor modulations during action execution and observation. Joachim also worked as a Researcher PHD Student at the Institut de Neurosciences de la Timone from September 2008 to March 2013. During this time, they conducted cortical recordings in behaving monkeys and researched time estimation during movement preparation.
Joachim Confais began their education in 2007 at Aix-Marseille University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Neuroscience in 2008. Joachim further pursued their studies at the same university and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from 2009 to 2013.
In 2017, Joachim enrolled in Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and acquired a Master's degree in Cinical and preclinical animal research in 2018.
Additionally, Joachim Confais obtained a certification called NBR licence for animal experiment and primate use from the Japan National Bioressource Project, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
