Kerda Keevend

Kerda Keevend is an experienced scientist with a robust background in application development, research, and collaboration in the fields of chemistry and bioimaging. Currently serving as an Application Scientist at Cytosurge AG since January 2022, Kerda previously held positions at SuSoS AG as a Research and Development Scientist and at ETH Zürich as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where significant advancements were made in developing cathodoluminescence-based protein labels. Kerda's academic journey includes a PhD from ETH Zürich, where pioneering work on bioimaging methods was accomplished, and a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Tartu. Prior roles include a Chemist at Interchemie, a PhD student at Empa, and a Research Intern at EPFL, demonstrating a consistent focus on nanoparticle synthesis, functionalization, and characterization throughout a diverse professional career.
