Christina Ambrosi Banfill, Ph.D., currently serves as Principal Scientist at CytoTronics since March 2023, where responsibilities include managing and executing biology experiments focused on platform validation in areas such as electrophysiology and immuno-oncology. Prior to this, Christina held the position of Principal Scientist at Q-State Biosciences, supervising collaborations and leading research projects from December 2017 to March 2023. Christina's academic experience includes roles as a Senior Scientist and Research Scientist at The George Washington University and a Senior Postdoctoral Research Associate at Stony Brook University, with expertise in developing optogenetics tools for cardiac research. Christina earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, where also a Bachelor's and Master's degree in the same field was obtained.
