Dyonne Starmans

Dyonne Starmans has extensive experience in education and support for non-native Dutch speakers, currently serving as a docent loopbaanbegeleiding at DaCapo College since August 2017, where responsibilities include guiding career development and advising on educational choices for NT2 students aged 16 and above. Dyonne has also worked as a transfer coach, supporting schools in Sittard-Geleen with the integration of NT2 students into regular secondary education, and has held roles focused on monitoring care structures and advising on culturally sensitive teaching practices for newcomers aged 12 to 18. Previous positions include teaching Dutch as a second language at various institutions, coaching, and working as a pedagogical employee, complemented by relevant degrees from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and Zuyd University of Applied Sciences.
