Jacob Enk is an accomplished scientist and research leader with extensive experience in genomics and synthetic biology. Currently serving as the Director of Research, Development, and Applications at Daicel Arbor Biosciences since November 2017, Jacob oversees the development and deployment of innovative technologies while providing strategic leadership to a team of scientists. Previously, Jacob held roles as R&D Manager for both the Genomics and NGS divisions and served as a Senior Scientist specializing in NGS product research. Earlier in Jacob's career, positions at MYcroarray included leading NGS services and product development, while doctoral research at McMaster University focused on North American mammoth phylogeography. Jacob holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from McMaster University, a Master's in Physical and Biological Anthropology from the University of Utah, and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Indiana University Bloomington.
