Tamara Grigsby has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. From 2000 to 2004, they worked as a Program Manager at the Wisconsin Council on Children & Families. In 2005, they became a State Representative in the Wisconsin State Assembly, serving in this role until 2012. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Cardinal Stritch University. In 2013, they joined Milwaukee Public Schools as a Manager of Parent & Community Engagement until 2014. Currently, they work as the Community Relations Director in the County Executive's Office at Dane County, a position they have held since 2014.
Tamara Grigsby completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Howard University from 1993 to 1997. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1998 to 2000.
