Helle Eis Christensen has a diverse work experience in the field of economics. Helle started their career in 2014 as a Studentermedhjælper at the Ministry of Finance of Denmark, where they worked until 2015. In 2015, they joined Danmarks Nationalbank as a Studentermedhjælper in the Økonomi og Pengepolitik department, where they analyzed the Danish and international economic development and contributed to the creation of the Nationalbankens konjunkturskøn. From 2017 to 2017, they worked as a Research Assistant at Danmarks Nationalbank, focusing on economic analysis and projections for the Danish economy. Helle then transitioned to the role of Economist at Danmarks Nationalbank in 2018, where they continued their work until 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Economist at Danmarks Nationalbank. Additionally, they recently took on the responsibilities of Senior Treasury Manager in 2022.
Helle Eis Christensen completed their bachelor's degree in Economics at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 2012 to 2015. Helle then pursued their Kandidatgrad in Economics at the same university from 2016 to 2018. In 2017, Helle Eis Christensen also had the opportunity to study Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. Afterward, they returned to Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen to further their studies in Økonomi.
In addition to their formal education, Helle Eis Christensen obtained a certification in Introduction to Bond Market Qualification (IBMQ) from ICMA - International Capital Market Association in October 2022.
