James Joost

James Joost has over 14 years of experience in operational risk management and finance. James currently holds the position of Director of Operational Risk Management at Golub Capital, where they have been since 2017. Prior to this, they had various roles at Golub Capital, including Associate Director, Vice President, and Assistant Vice President.

Before joining Golub Capital, James worked at Synchrony Financial as a Lead Analyst in Model Governance from 2014 to 2017. James also has experience at Newedge, where they worked in various roles including Associate Director in Operational Risk and Operational Risk Analyst/Associate. James started their career as a Staff Auditor at Newedge. James's experience spans across different sectors and roles within operational risk management, showcasing their expertise in the field.

James Joost attended Northern Illinois University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. James went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General at DePaul University from 2016 to 2018.
