Andy Lawrence

Andy Lawrence is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a comprehensive background in security architecture, engineering, and operations. Currently serving as VP of Security Architecture & Engineering at Darktrace, Andy leads initiatives in vulnerability management, cloud security, and penetration testing, overseeing over 100 personnel in DevSecOps, product development, and IT. Previous roles include Director of SOC Operations for the Americas at Darktrace, where Andy ensured high-quality client support during security incidents, and Senior Cyber Security Analyst, focusing on threat hunting and client engagement. Prior experience includes senior engineering roles at Tecology, Inc. and DMI, alongside a tenure as a Network Intelligence Analyst in the United States Air Force. Andy holds an Executive MBA from Washington State University, a Graduate Certificate in Incident Response from SANS Technology Institute, and advanced degrees in International Relations from the University of Oklahoma and Ramapo College of New Jersey.
