Toni Verbeiren

Toni Verbeiren is an experienced data scientist and bioinformatician currently employed at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson since January 2016, while also serving as CEO of Data Intuitive and consulting on service and decision management since February 2011. Verbeiren’s prior roles include postdoctoral work at KU Leuven from November 2013 to December 2016, where involvement in the ExaScience project occurred, and leadership in technical architecture at Provincie Antwerpen from March 2010 to March 2014. Additional experience includes consulting roles at Eurocontrol, onetowin, Luminus, and Login Consultants, as well as a position as a technical trainer at Guidance NV/SA. Verbeiren holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics with a focus on Neural Networks and a Licentiate in Physics, both from KU Leuven.
