Siera Dissmore has held a variety of roles in the research and editorial fields. Siera began their career in 2012 as a Research Assistant for the Modernist Journals Project. In 2013, they worked as an Editorial Assistant for Public Books and held multiple roles at the Institute for Public Knowledge, including Program Manager, Program Administrator, and Administrative Assistant. Most recently, in 2019, they assumed the role of Program Manager, Research at the Data & Society Research Institute.
Siera Dissmore's education history includes a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Media, Culture, and Communication from New York University between 2015 and 2017, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Modern Culture and Media from Brown University between 2009 and 2013, and a High School diploma from Phillips Exeter Academy between 2007 and 2009. Additionally, they have taken a course in Project Management at General Assembly.
