Cedric de Boom

Cedric De Boom is a Senior Data Engineer at Dataminded since August 2023, previously serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Statistiek Vlaanderen. Cedric has extensive experience in data science and machine learning, having worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at DPG Media and held roles at Spotify as both a contractor and intern, focusing on playlist datasets and user taste models. Academic roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at UGent, where Cedric specialized in real-time model reduction and active inference, and PhD Researcher in Representation Learning for Symbolic Sequences.
