Bart Smeets

Bart Smeets has a diverse work experience in the fields of data science, entrepreneurship, and healthcare. Bart co-founded dataroots in 2016 and dploy.ai in 2020, where they served as a Founder. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist at ARTYCS in 2016. Bart also has experience in the healthcare sector, having worked as a Care Program Manager at University Hospitals Leuven from 2011 to 2016, where they focused on solving complex care program process optimization challenges. Bart also completed an internship in strategy consultancy at Arseus in 2011.

Bart Smeets began their education journey in 2008 when they enrolled at KU Leuven, where they pursued a Master of Science in Health Care Management and Policy. Bart successfully completed their degree in 2010. Following this, in 2010, Smeets attended Vlerick Business School where they obtained a Master of Science in General Management, completing their studies in 2011. Wanting to further enhance their skills, they returned to KU Leuven in 2012 to pursue a Master of Advanced Business Studies in Process Optimization & Analysis, which they completed in 2013.
