Hema Subramanyan

Hema Subramanyan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Hema is currently the Head of Corporate FP&A at DataStax since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at InfluxData from August 2019 to November 2020. From May 2017 to October 2018, they served as the Director of Finance at HyperGrid. Hema also held the position of Sr. Manager, FP&A at Nimble Storage from February 2013 to May 2016. Before that, they worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as the Business Performance Analytics Lead for Storage Division, FP&A from April 2011 to February 2013 and as a Finance Manager from December 2010 to March 2011. Hema's earlier experiences include working as a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis at 3PAR from December 2007 to December 2010, as a Sr. Financial Analyst at Blue Shield from June 2005 to December 2006, and as a Sr. Financial Analyst at Space Systems Loral from the year 2000 to 2003.

Hema Subramanyan has earned an MBA in Finance from San Jose State University. Hema also holds a degree in B.Com. from Bharathidasan University, with a focus on Accounting, Cost Accounting, Marketing, and Economics. In addition, they obtained an Honors Diploma in Systems Management from the National Institute of Information Technology, where they studied various subjects including Programming Logic, Algorithms, Structured COBOL, Databases, Spreadsheets, FoxPro, and Application Development.
