Rob Torres

Rob Torres is an experienced CNC Programmer with a diverse background in the furniture manufacturing industry. Currently at Davis Furniture since August 2016, Rob creates programs for table tops and upholstered plywood frames, while also designing jigs and fixtures for both 3-axis and 5-axis machines. Prior experience includes programming CNC machines for D & B Concepts, where Rob utilized AutoCAD, AlphaCAM, and CADcode. Previously, Rob served as a CNC machinist at Davis Furniture and worked with a variety of CNC routers at Steelcase from 2007 to 2014, also taking on roles involving leadership and machine operation in earlier positions. Rob holds a Certificate in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from ECPI College of Technology and received education at Linden Vocational School.
