Benson Wu

Benson Wu has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Benson started their career at Ford Motor Company as an FP&A Supervisor, where they worked from 2005 to 2010. During their time at Ford, they also served as a Graduate Trainee at the Nanjing JV Mfg Plant. After that, they joined Forevermark at De Beers as a Greater China Finance Manager from 2010 to 2012. Benson then pursued an MBA at London Business School from 2012 to 2014. Following their MBA, Benson returned to De Beers Group and held various roles, including Greater China Finance Controller from 2014 to 2015, Finance & Operations Director APAC from 2015 to 2020, Business Transformation & Operations Director from 2020 to 2022, and currently serves as the Business Operations Director APAC. In their roles at De Beers, Benson was responsible for managing financial matters, driving profitability, overseeing various functions, and providing strategic guidance for the company.

Benson Wu earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the London Business School, completing their studies from 2012 to 2014. In addition, they obtained certifications such as Art Market Economics and History of Jewellery Design: 1880–Now from Christie's Education, both in the year 2021. Benson also holds a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the Institute of Management Accountants, obtained in 2006.
