Scarlett McCabe

Scarlett McCabe is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education and training. As CEO of Debate Mate since January 2015, Scarlett leads a platform dedicated to enhancing communication, critical thinking, and confidence skills among children and professionals through virtual debating clubs. Prior to this role, Scarlett served as Executive Programme Director at Debate Mate Schools from September 2013 to January 2015, where a successful summer programme in Jamaica was established. Scarlett's career began as a Trainee Lawyer at Slaughter and May from September 2012 to July 2014. Educational credentials include participation in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School, a Bachelor of Arts in History from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Diploma in Arabic Language and Literature from SOAS University of London.
