John Gardner

John Gardner's work experience begins in 1990 when they worked as a Regional Editor at TV Guide Magazine, where they wrote articles and managed client relationships. From 1991 to 1993, they were an Assistant Branch Manager at DialAmerica, Inc., responsible for managing telemarketing campaigns and implementing automated dialing systems. In 1993, they became an Office Manager at HOME ENHANCERS, INC, where they oversaw marketing campaigns, budget management, and implemented information systems.

In 1994, Gardner joined Carlson Marketing Group as an Account Supervisor, overseeing marketing activities for Northwest Airlines' Frequent Flyer program. John managed large teams and handled various marketing responsibilities until 2004.

In 2004, Gardner joined DecoPac, Inc., initially as the Director of Marketing and Licensing, where they managed brand management, promotional development, and established licensing relationships. In 2012, they transitioned to the role of Director of Customer Marketing, responsible for developing marketing programs and partnerships. In 2018, they were promoted to Assistant Vice President Sales and led a team of sales and marketing professionals to provide industry insights and customer solutions. John further advanced to the role of Vice President Sales from 2019 to 2021 and is currently serving as the Vice President Global Marketing.

John Gardner obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism - Advertising from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 1985 to 1990. Additionally, in 1996, they earned a Mini Masters of Information Technology from the University of St. Thomas, with a focus on Online Marketing. John also completed a certification as a Certified Digital Marketing Professional from the Digital Marketing Institute in January 2022. In September 2019, John obtained an Advanced Management and Leadership certification from IDDBA, as well as a Key Account Management certification from LinkedIn in July 2019. In February 2018, they obtained a Shopper Marketing Practitioner certification from the Path to Purchase Institute, a division of EnsembleIQ and the publisher of Shopper Marketing magazine.
