Kara Crittenden

Kara Crittenden is an accomplished budget analyst with extensive experience in financial analysis and procurement support within the defense sector. Currently serving as a Team Lead Budget Analyst at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency since September 2014, Kara Crittenden oversees the review and verification of fund availability for various programs. Prior experience as an Acquisition Analyst II at BAE Systems included providing financial and contractual support for the Naval Sea Systems Command and developing cost estimates for combat systems. Earlier roles also involved maintaining contracts and analyzing spending trends as a Business Acquisition Intern at BAE Systems. Kara Crittenden holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
