Valerie Burnett

Valerie Burnett, Ed.D, is an experienced education consultant currently supporting the implementation of Restorative Practices at the Delaware County Intermediate Unit since July 2023. Valerie has operated Burnett Educational Consulting since August 2018, focusing on pupil services and special education. Valerie retired from the School District of Haverford Township in August 2017 after serving as the Director of Pupil Services and Special Education from August 2008 to August 2017, overseeing various educational services. Additionally, Valerie held positions as a counselor and program director at Gretna Glen from 2006 to 2018, and was the Director of Pupil Services at Rose Tree Media School District from 2003 to 2008. Academic contributions include adjunct faculty roles at West Chester University and Immaculata University, along with advanced degrees in Educational Leadership and Special Education from Immaculata University and Penn State Great Valley.
