Ariana Cervantes

Ariana Cervantes is a Report Coordinator at Delta Group. Ariana has also worked as a cashier at The Home Depot, a deputy editor-in-chief and section editor at UNG Vanguard, and a foreign language lab tutor at the University of North Georgia.

Ariana began their working career as a cashier at The Home Depot in September 2014. Ariana was responsible for ringing customers out, making returns, directing customers to different sections throughout the store, and assisting their fellow coworkers with any customer service aspect of the job. In January 2016, they took on the role of Deputy Editor In Chief at UNG Vanguard, where they helped the EIC with any area they needed, mentored 12 writers and editors, line edited and top edited several stories per day, checked in with writers on their progress with a story, assisted in copy editing the print editions, and oversaw that stories were correctly formatted for the web editions. Ariana became a Section Editor at UNG Vanguard in August 2015 and continued in that role until December 2016. Ariana was also a Staff Writer at UNG Vanguard from August 2014 to December 2016. In August 2014, they began working as a foreign language lab tutor at the University of North Georgia and continued in that role until May 2017.

Ariana Cervantes has a Bachelor's degree in Communications with a concentration in Multimedia Journalism from the University of North Georgia. Ariana is currently working as a journalist.
