Ray Carlo Abacan

Ray Carlo Abacan has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Ray Carlo started their career as a Professor at Mapua IT Center in 2004 and then moved on to work as a Senior International Technical Training Engineer at ZTE Corporation from 2005 to 2007. Ray Carlo then worked as a Cisco (CTE) Instructor at CISCO Networking Academy (BCPSS) from 2007 to 2013. After that, they served as a Threats Research Engineer at Trend Micro in 2013. Ray Carlo also held the role of Technical Training Consultant at Finastra from 2014 to 2017. In addition, they worked as a Consultant - College Dean and Head of Academic Affairs at AMA University from 2015 to 2017. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Computer Science Professor at De La Salle Lipa. Ray Carlo then worked as an ICT Teacher at Global Leaders International School from 2018 to 2019. From 2016 to 2022, they were a Consultant at Enderun Colleges. Currently, they are employed at Deltek, where they started as a Senior Instructional Designer in 2017 and has since held the positions of Senior Curriculum Manager and Principal Curriculum Manager.

Ray Carlo then pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science at AMA University from 2002 to 2004. In 2006, they attended the University of the Philippines Open University and earned a Professional Teaching Certificate in Education. Continuing their studies, they completed a Master's Degree in Leadership in Teaching - Special Education at Notre Dame of Maryland University from 2007 to 2010. In 2010, they furthered their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of the Visayas from 2010 to 2012. Alongside their formal education, Ray Carlo Abacan has obtained numerous certifications, including an IT Specialist - Python certification from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business.
