Damneet Kaur Gharu

Damneet Kaur Gharu has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Damneet Kaur currently works at Dematic as a Principal User Experience Designer. Prior to this, they worked at Honeywell where they held multiple positions, including Sr User Exp Design Supervisor in the Connected Enterprise division. In this role, they led the design of the Performance+ operations application for warehouse domain and explored other domains like buildings and industrials. Damneet Kaur also played a key role in taking the Performance+ MVO phase from an initiative to a launched product and conducted research on legacy products to improve the user experience. Before Honeywell, Damneet worked as a UX/UI Designer at Benchmark Brands, where they focused on product development and gathered user research to improve their health and hosiery products. Additionally, they have experience working as a freelance designer and researcher, where they launched Quantitative User Research for the Peachplay app and built a responsive website for an NGO called Rubaroo. Prior to their freelance work, Damneet founded and managed a lifestyle website called Pixiedustdiaries, where they focused on parenthood, travel, fitness, books, and product reviews. Overall, Damneet has a strong background in user experience design and has contributed to various projects across different industries.

From 2006 to 2010, they attended the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Fashion & Apparel Design Technology.

In 2012, they enrolled in the Savannah College of Art and Design, pursuing a Master's degree in Design. Damneet Kaur completed this program in 2013.

Additionally, in August 2017, they obtained a certification in UX Fundamentals from Gymnasium.
