Offshore Chief Surveyor/party Chief For DEME Offshore BE at DEME Group

Sam Lieveld's work experience begins in 2010 with an internship in surveying at GeoNed b.v. The following year, Lieveld worked as a photographer for REC Radiocentrum. From 2011 to 2013, Lieveld held various roles at Tideway BV as a hydrographic surveyor, including online surveyor on DP Fall Pipe Vessels, client representative, offshore surveyor on a cable lay vessel, online surveyor on board a D.P. Side Stone Dumping Vessel, and onshore data processor. Lieveld then went on to work at several different companies in various surveying and chief surveyor roles, including Dredging International, GeoSea NV, Dragmorstroy, Société de Dragage International, and DEME Group. Lieveld's most recent role as of 2020 is the offshore chief surveyor/party chief for DEME Offshore BE.

Sam Lieveld attended University College Ghent from 2007 to 2010, where they studied Surveying/Topography. Prior to that, they studied History at Ghent University from 2006 to 2007. There is no information available about their start or end year for their education at Erasmus. In addition to their formal education, Sam Lieveld has obtained several certifications including BOSIET - Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training from STC-KNRM in October 2018, and various certifications from Global Wind Organisation such as Fire Awareness, First Aid, Manual Handling, Sea Survival, and Working at Height. Sam has also obtained the VCA Safety for Operational Supervisors certification from HaCeCo.
