Martin Bishop has a diverse work experience in the fundraising and marketing sector. Martin most recently served as the Director of Fundraising, Marketing, and Communications at Dementia UK since 2014. Before that, they held the position of Director of Fundraising at RNID from 2009 to 2014 and Director of Corporate Partnerships & Events from 2007 to 2009. Martin also worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity as the Interim Head of Corporate Account Management in 2007. Prior to that, they were at NSPCC, where they served as the Interim Head of Corporate Partnerships from 2006 to 2007 and as an Account Director for Corporate Partnerships from 2001 to 2006. Martin's earlier roles include Account Manager and Corporate Fundraiser at Marie Curie Cancer Care from 1997 to 2000 and Executive Assistant to the Head of Fundraising at the British Red Cross from 1994 to 1997.
Martin Bishop attended the University of Nottingham from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Law.
