Hugues E.

Hugues E. currently serves as the Directeur général adjoint Jeunesse et Sports at the Département des Hauts-de-Seine, focusing on the development of sports for all and overseeing multiple directions, including preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Previously, Hugues E. held the position of Corporate Affairs Director for Rugby World Cup France 2023, where responsibilities included the creation and management of a public interest grouping responsible for organizing the tournament, as well as financial, administrative, and legal affairs. Hugues E. has also contributed to academia as a Professor of Defense Economics at Sciences Po and was a member of the Conseil supérieur of the Fédération Française de Rugby. Other notable experiences include Inspecteur des finances at the Inspection générale des finances, extensive service as an Officier des Troupes de Marine, and various roles in France’s Ministry of Economy and the Service militaire adapté, complemented by a solid educational background in economic development and military strategy.
