Alana Neal

Alana Neal has extensive experience in corrections and recruitment, currently serving as the A/Assistant Superintendent Women's Services at the Department of Justice since October 2019, following roles as Senior Officer and Unit Manager at Melaleuca Women's Prison. Previously, Alana held various positions at Eastern Goldfields Regional Prison, including A/Assistant Superintendent Operations, Senior Officer Security, and Prison Officer. Prior to this, Alana worked with Serco as a Prison Officer and Correctional Emergency Response Team Leader. In the recruitment field, Alana has held multiple roles, including Senior Consultant at Mining Employment Services, Operations Manager at Mineworks Operations Pty Ltd, and Executive Division Manager at Mineworks Recruitment Specialists. Alana's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Counterterrorism, Security, and Intelligence at Edith Cowan University, as well as a Cert III in Correctional Practice, Criminal Justice, and Corrections.
