Christina Jackson is an experienced professional in water policy and planning, currently serving as the Branch Manager for the Water Policy & Planning Branch at the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania (NRE Tas) since May 2017. Prior to this role, Christina held various positions at the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment (DPIPWE) from March 2001 to May 2017, including Senior Policy Officer, Project Officer for the Water Development Plan for Tasmania, and Project Manager for the Water Legislation Review. Christina began the career at the Australian Bureau of Statistics and the Environment Protection Agency, and also worked at NSW Agriculture. Academic qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Applied Science (Marine Environment) with a focus on Fisheries Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Science (Honours), both obtained from the University of Tasmania.
