Derek Sweem

Derek Sweem is an experienced executive with a robust background in operations and management. Currently serving as President of D Sweem Consulting Inc since June 2015, Derek focuses on process improvement for companies in the San Diego area. Concurrently, Derek holds the position of Director of Operations at Design West Technologies, Inc., where efforts are directed towards building a capable team. Previously, Derek was President of Evans Manufacturing, Inc. from February 2002 to March 2014, overseeing manufacturing and distribution of promotional products. Earlier in the career, Derek served as Vice President of Operations at Hartwell Corporation from January 1977 to February 2002, managing aerospace manufacturing operations and driving product development and process improvements.
