Sarah Cattrysse

Sarah Cattrysse has a diverse work experience. Sarah started their career as a Communications Consultant at akkanto, a Brussels-based communication consultancy, in May 2014. Sarah worked there for eight years, providing strategic advice and implementing communication solutions for clients.

In July 2018, Sarah joined Private Investors for Africa (PIA) as a Consultant. PIA is a business coalition aiming to leverage the business experience of its members to contribute to the development of Africa. Sarah's role involved facilitating cooperation between the private sector and international institutions to create a positive business environment in African nations. Sarah worked in this position for four years, until July 2022.

Next, Sarah joined Lotus Bakeries in August 2022 as a Corporate Communication Manager. Sarah held this role for ten months, until June 2023.

In June 2023, Sarah transitioned to their current position as the Global Head of Corporate Communications at DESOTEC, where they currently work.

Sarah Cattrysse has a strong education background in language and literature. Sarah completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Taal- en Letterkunde from KU Leuven from 2009 to 2012. Sarah then pursued an International Exchange Program at Université Paris Nanterre in 2012. Following this, they obtained their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Taal- en Letterkunde from KU Leuven in 2013. Sarah further enhanced their qualifications by completing an Advanced Master of Arts (MA) in Multilingual Business Communication at Ghent University in 2014.
