Mitchell Pitts

Mitchell Pitts is an experienced sports management professional serving as the Division Sports Director for the YMCA of South Hampton Roads since December 2021, overseeing sports development across multiple locations. Prior roles included Regional Sports Director and District Sports Director within the YMCA, as well as a community outreach role with the Norfolk Tides Baseball Club. Mitchell has also contributed as a Minority Owner of Detroit City FC and as an Adjunct Instructor at Virginia Wesleyan University, teaching sports leadership and management. Previous experience includes various roles in sports and recreation, coaching, and customer service. Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Recreation Management from James Madison University.
