Shamim Aziz

Shamim Aziz is an accomplished technology leader with a strong focus on data and sustainability, currently serving as Director and Global Head of Data & Technology for Sustainability at Deutsche Bank since October 2022. Previously, Shamim held the position of Director of SAP Data & Analytics Architecture within the Financial Service Advisory team at SAP from February 2020 to January 2022, and served as Associate Director of Technology Architecture at EY from March 2019 to February 2020. A significant portion of Shamim's career was dedicated to CGI, where various roles included Director of Financial Services Technology Consulting and Head of Emerging Technologies, showcasing extensive expertise in technology consulting and architecture. Early career experience includes roles at RAK Co. for White Cement and Construction Materials and Transpack Computer, starting as an IT Consultant and progressing to Lead Software Architect. Shamim holds a Bachelor of Computer Applications from Mahatma Gandhi University, obtained between 1995 and 1998.
