John N H.

John N H. is currently a Senior Scientific Consultant at Diamond Age Data Science, a role assumed in September 2023. Prior to this, John served as the Director of Genome Informatics at Altius Institute for Biomedical Sciences, where responsibilities included managing a bioinformatics analysis team focused on RNA-seq and single cell RNA-seq assays. John possesses extensive experience in bioinformatics and genomic analysis from various positions, including Principal Scientist and Senior Research Scientist at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where specialization included data visualization and next generation sequencing techniques. Additional roles included postdoctoral fellowships at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, focusing on the epigenomic aspects of diseases. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Biochemistry from the University of Guelph and a Ph.D. in Biology from McMaster University.
