Emily Pressler

Emily is the Postsecondary Field Research Director with the Learning Sciences Research team. Professionally, Emily hopes her work will help boost the socioeconomic mobility of historically excluded populations. In her prior positions, she has enjoyed applying her training through both the “front,” and the “back” ends of research, whether managing a complex portfolio of research and evaluation activities as the Director of Research and Evaluation at Harlem Children’s Zone or implementing randomized control trial evaluations of school-based interventions in early childhood and K-12 educational settings. Emily received her M.S. and Ph.D. in human development and family studies from Pennsylvania State University and her B.S. in psychology from Fordham University.
