Lon LaFlamme has a diverse work experience, starting in 1978 as a Reporter at the Associated Press. In 1998, they became the Chief Executive Officer at Evans Group Marketing/Seattle until 2005. In 2000, Lon started their own business called KJL Communications, where they provided operational, branding, and customer relationship marketing leadership training to small businesses, with a focus on specialty coffee retailers. In 2001, they joined Dillanos Coffee Roasters as the Director of Marketing/Brand Coach/National Sales.
Lon LaFlamme attended Northwestern University from 1989 to 1990, where they pursued Marketing Special Studies. Prior to that, from 1968 to 1972, they received their Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah. Their major was English, with a minor in Business.
