Marlena Lee

Marlena Lee has a diverse work experience. Marlena is currently serving as a Member of the Board of Advisors at the Illinois Institute of Technology since 2022. Prior to this, Marlena held various roles at Dimensional Fund Advisors, including Global Head of Investment Solutions, Co-Head of Research, Head of Investment Research, and Vice President. Marlena'stenure at Dimensional Fund Advisors spanned from 2008 to 2019. Before joining Dimensional Fund Advisors, Marlena worked as an Economic Consultant in the consulting industry from 2002 to 2007.

Marlena Lee holds a Ph.D. in Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, which they obtained from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their M.S. in Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California, Davis from 2001 to 2002. Marlena'seducational journey started with a B.S. in Managerial Economics from the same university, which they completed from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, Marlena has obtained certifications such as Series 7, 66, and 24 from the FINRA Investor Education Foundation.
