Ryan Bates

Ryan Bates is a seasoned management accountant with extensive experience in financial oversight and reporting. Currently serving as a Management Accountant at the Diocese of Worcester since April 2020, Ryan has previously held similar roles at Hartpury University and Hartpury College from July 2018 to April 2020, and as a Finance Officer at ELIM FOURSQUARE GOSPEL ALLIANCE from November 2006 to July 2018. Ryan's expertise includes managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, overseeing payroll for a large workforce, and training staff in accounting responsibilities. Educational qualifications include a CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting from BPP University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Charity Accounting and Financial Management from Cass Business School, and a BA (Hons) in Leisure and Sports Management from the University of Wales, Cardiff. Prior to a financial career, Ryan gained experience in customer service and public safety as a Lifeguard and Leisure Assistant at Leisure@cheltenham from 2004 to 2006.
