Andrew Dzurak is a prominent physicist and entrepreneur, serving as the CEO and Founder of Diraq since May 2022, where the focus is on advancing scalable quantum computing through innovative chip technology. Andrew holds dual roles at UNSW as an ARC Laureate Fellow and Scientia Professor in Quantum Engineering within the School of Electrical Engineering & Telecommunications. Additionally, Andrew is a Board Member of the Sydney Quantum Academy and a Chief Investigator at the ARC Centre for Quantum Computation and Communication Technology. Prior to these positions, Andrew directed the NSW Node of the Australian National Fabrication Facility from September 2006 to May 2022. Andrew's academic credentials include a PhD in Physics from the University of Cambridge and a BSc (Hons) in Physics from the University of Sydney.
