Emma Kinyanjui has extensive experience in the legal field, currently serving as an Attorney at Disability Rights North Carolina since September 2016. Previously, Emma was the Director of the Office for Career Services at NCCU School of Law from April 2011 to September 2016, where responsibilities included providing legal career advice and enhancing students' awareness of career opportunities for juris doctor graduates. Emma's earlier experience includes representing low-income clients at Legal Aid of North Carolina from September 2003 to April 2011, focusing on housing, employment, public benefits law, and consumer law. Emma holds a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from North Carolina Central University School of Law (2003), and has completed summer courses in International Law at Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law (2002). Emma also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with Business Concentration from Hollins University in 1996.
