Sue King

Sue King is an experienced professional with a diverse background in public affairs and tour leadership. Currently serving as a Tour Leader at Discovery Bicycle Tours since May 2023 and as Event Staff and Tour Leader with the Adventure Cycling Association since September 2021, Sue has a solid foundation in communications and public engagement. Prior roles include Public Affairs Advisor at the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service from June 2021 to January 2022 and Public Affairs Office Director from January 2011 to April 2021. Additionally, Sue held the position of Communications Director at the Maryland Department of Agriculture and served as a Public Information Officer at both the Maryland Department of Planning and the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development. Sue King holds a BA in History from the University of Vermont, obtained from 1983 to 1987.
