Rae McKelvey

Rae McKelvey has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology and engineering fields. Rae is currently the Head of Customer Engineering at Ditto since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Team Lead at Ink & Switch from March 2021 to May 2022. Rae also served as a Senior Security Consultant at Simply Secure from October 2020 to September 2021. Before that, they worked at Digital Democracy in a Technology and Partnerships role from August 2017 to October 2020. Rae also has experience as a Fellow at The Aspen Institute's Aspen Tech Policy Hub, a Engineering Team Lead at the Dat Protocol Foundation, and a Software Engineer at Google. Rae started their career as a Research Scientist at Indiana University and also worked as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Microsoft. Furthermore, they held a position as an Undergraduate Instructor in Computer Science at Indiana University.

Rae McKelvey attended Indiana University Bloomington from 2008 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. During their time at the university, they studied Computer Science and Political Science.
