David Stanek

David Stanek is a professional with extensive experience in bioinformatics and molecular biology. Currently serving as the Manager of PS Bioinformatics Engineering and previously as a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist and Bioinformatics Scientist at DNAnexus since November 2020, David has focused on DNA analysis of MPS data and process optimization in relation to neurodegenerative disorders in pediatric patients. David's prior roles include bioinformatician at the Department of Paediatric Neurology at Charles University and various internships that involved analysis of NGS data for CMT and epilepsy patients. David holds a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology, Genetics, and Virology from Charles University, alongside multiple engineering degrees from Czech Technical University in Prague, including a background in bioinformatics and biomedical methods.
