Akhilesh Yarabarla

Akhilesh Yarabarla is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in building data-driven solutions and applications. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Docker, Inc. since March 2022, Akhilesh previously worked at National Oilwell Varco as a Software Engineer from June 2018 to March 2022. Earlier roles include Software Engineering Internships at Capital One and Nordstrom, where Akhilesh developed an AWS Lambda ETL pipeline and predictive models using Scala and Apache Spark. As Director of Engineering at HackDFW, Akhilesh led a team to create a participant management system and a hardware tracking checkout system for hackathons. Earlier experience also includes building real-time analysis services and dashboards during an internship at Research Now. Akhilesh holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Neuroscience from The University of Texas at Dallas and attended the Texas Academy of Math and Science at the University of North Texas.
