Lauren Babek

Lauren Babek is an accomplished recruitment leader with extensive experience in technical and university recruiting. Currently serving as Sr. Director, Technical Recruiting at DoorDash since March 2021, Lauren transitioned to this role in January 2024. Prior to DoorDash, Lauren was Head of Talent Acquisition & Programs at Snap Inc. from January 2017 to March 2021, where contributions included scaling recruiting strategies across multiple locations. At LinkedIn, from November 2011 to January 2017, Lauren advanced from Manager to Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, playing a key role in the company’s growth from 1,000 to over 10,000 employees and through its acquisition by Microsoft. Earlier career experiences include a Recruiting Researcher role at Netflix during its international expansion and campus recruiting at Teach For America. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with dual minors in Psychology and Sociology from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, graduating Cum Laude.
