Tarek Marawan

Tarek Marawan has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the Middle East and Africa in industries such as access solutions, security, and industrial technologies. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President for Middle East & Africa at dormakaba, where they have successfully implemented strategic plans to improve sales and profit margins. Prior to this, Tarek held key positions at ASSA ABLOY Group, where they oversaw the acquisition and integration of three factories and led operational initiatives to enhance productivity. Tarek also worked at Ingersoll Rand Industrial Technologies as Regional Director and Area Sales Manager for the Middle East and North Africa. Tarek's early career includes roles at Thermo King, where they managed sales and service operations, and at ADC Telecommunication, where they started as a Mechanical Engineering CO-OP/Internship. Throughout their career, Tarek has demonstrated strong leadership, negotiation skills, and a track record of driving growth and profitability.

Tarek Marawan holds a Master of Business Administration - MBA degree sponsored by Ingersoll Rand from the University of Leicester. Tarek also has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on Industrial Engineering from the University of Minnesota. In 2015, they completed the Boosting Global Leadership Program at IMD through an executive training course. Additionally, they have pursued professional development opportunities.
