Weixi Li

Weixi Li is a Construction Engineer at Dragados USA, Inc. since October 2020, working on the Gordie Howe International Bridge project, where responsibilities include providing technical support and supervising construction activities. Prior experience includes a role as a Field Engineer on the same project and serving as a Community Center Assistant at the University of Michigan, focusing on creating an inclusive environment. Weixi served as Design Manager for a suspended bridge project in Bolivia, demonstrating design capabilities and field construction skills. Academic contributions include multiple teaching assistant positions at the University of Iowa, providing personalized support and tutoring in engineering courses. Weixi holds a Master’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Iowa, with additional studies at The University of Edinburgh.
