Dennis van Nistelrooij has a diverse work experience in aviation. Dennis started their career in 2001 with the Royal Netherlands Air Force as a Pilot, and they continued in this role until 2017. During this time, they also served as a Co-Pilot for C-130H-30 at 336 Squadron from 2006-2008.
In 2005, they worked as a Co-Pilot for Fokker 50 and 60 at 334 Squadron. Later on, in 2006, they also joined Koninklijke Luchtmacht as a Vlieger and Armee de l'aire as an EMB-121 Xingu.
From 2009-2016, they worked for Heavy Airlift Wing as a C-17 Instructor Pilot and also as a Pilot C-17 during this period.
In 2017, they transitioned to the commercial sector and worked for Norwegian as a First Officer for Boeing 787.
Finally, in 2017, Dennis joined Delaware Resource Group as a C-17 Instructor Pilot.
Dennis van Nistelrooij has a diverse education history in the field of aviation. In 1998 and 1999, they attended the EAA European Aviation Agency where they obtained a FAA CPL IR ME degree. From 2001 to 2002, they enrolled in the Royal Military Academy and completed an Officer program. In the same time period, they also studied at the Royal Military Academy Netherlands (KMA). In 2002 and 2003, they attended EMVO Woensdrecht Airbase where they focused on PC-7 training. From 2002 to 2004, they pursued Air Force Pilot training at ENJJPT. Following that, from 2003 to 2004, they studied T-37, T-38A, and AT-38A as part of their Military Pilot degree at the Euro Nato Joint Jet Pilot Training program. In 2005, they completed the ATPL Course at CAE Maastricht and the MCC Course at Stella Aviation. Lastly, in 2007 and 2008, they attended the Flight Safety Officer Course to earn a FSO 336 Squadron degree.
