Cortley Maughan

Cortley Maughan has a wealth of experience in the fields of operations, consulting, engineering, surveying, and geotechnics. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Survey Technician for Civil Science and then as a Geotechnician and Mine Surveyor for Rio Tinto from 2007 to 2017. Cortley then worked as a Solutions Engineer for sensemetrics from 2017 to 2019. During this same time period, they were also employed as a Survey Technician for PEPG Consulting, LLC. In 2019, they moved on to become the Director of Operations for GroundBase Systems. In 2021, they began working as a Consulting Project Manager for DroneHive, Inc., a leading drone service provider for aerial data collection.

Cortley Maughan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Southern New Hampshire University in 2015. In December 2016, they obtained a sUAS Pilot (Commercial) - Part 107 certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.
