Vukasin Petrovic

Vukasin Petrovic has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Vukasin is currently serving as the Chief Program Officer (Interim) at DT Institute, where they oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and projects. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President at the same company.

In addition to their role at DT Institute, Vukasin has also worked at Club de Madrid, where they led the "New Information Ecosystem" Working Group. Vukasin was responsible for managing and coordinating activities related to this group.

Before joining Club de Madrid, Vukasin worked as the Director of Governance and Civic Engagement at Equal Access International. In this role, they were responsible for expanding and overseeing governance and civil society programs in various countries.

Vukasin has also worked as an Independent Consultant at Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance, where they provided consultation services in the field.

Prior to that, they had a long-standing career at Freedom House, where they held several positions including Senior Director for Strategy, Technical Director for USAID Human Rights Support Mechanism, Regional Director for Africa, and Project Director. During their time at Freedom House, Vukasin achieved various accomplishments, such as strengthening human rights safeguards and advocating for change in several African countries.

Before their work at Freedom House, Vukasin worked as a Consultant at Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance.

Overall, Vukasin Petrovic has extensive experience in program management, strategic planning, advocacy, and consulting in the field of democracy, human rights, and governance.

Vukasin Petrovic obtained a Master of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from City, University of London in 2003.
